Matt Binder
Matt is a local pharmacist who owns Duvall Family Drugs as well as three other King County pharmacies . Before graduating, he previously interned at Woodinville Medical Center Pharmacy.
His passion lies in independent pharmacy, which he states consistently has the happiest patients as well as employees.
Matt is a frequent advocate for pharmacy - often traveling to Olympia or Washington, DC to meet with lawmakers.
He is the 2024 recipient of the Washington State Pharmacy Association Distinguished Young Pharmacist award as well as the 2025 National Community Pharmacists Association Preceptor of the Year Award. Matt is proud to employ about 5% of active UW School of Pharmacy students within his stores.
Matt is excited to help Duvall Family Drugs see another 38 years and has kept on the staff as well as adding a couple new friendly faces.
Matt stays busy between running his other stores and raising 3 sons with his wife, Jonnie. When he does find spare time he can be found supporting the Mariners, Seahawks, and Kraken.
